What could we do to create a world with less violence?
Be less violent.
Oh. And more peaceful.
Riss the...reading Qs otD and mourning the loss of each and every brain cell.
What was the last great epiphany you had?
Submitted by Ross.
There haven't been any great epiphanies... but there have been lots of very minor, inconsequential ones.
Larissa the... really vox, enough with the oxymorons.
PS. By oxymoron, I clearly meant tautology.
What's the worst thing that could happen to you today? Bonus question: How would that thing potentially benefit you?
Vox, what's happened to you? We used to be friends, but now... I don't think I know you anymore.

What makes a good President of the United States?
One that acknowledges the existence of the world OUTSIDE the United States! Knowing the difference between "Austria" and "Australia" is also considered beneficial in Asia Pacific.
What would you do if you had one day to live and you were still young and healthy?
Submitted by Green Tea Adelaide.
Probably the same as any other day. Let's face it Vox, if I were still young and healthy, I wouldn't know I. Was. About. To. Die.
For crying out loud.
Riss the... hrmph.
PS. Excuse the absences cherubs, it's been a helluva ride at work. Lots of very busy, busy, busy days adding up to 2 very ca-razy weeks and about 35 hours over my hour target this month already. And it's only half way done.
How do you stay organized?

This is possibly THE most boring question I have ever seen. What answers could we expect? A treatise on one's filing systems? An essay about compartmentalised containers? I implore anyone who is decent to boycott this horrendous QotD.

Tell us about your holiday traditions.

Christmas Eve always involves watching (or avoiding watching) the carols in Melbourne on the telly... usually with port and Christmas cake.
Christmas day is an all in family thing. Breakfast (usually croissants or similar with Christmas ham) with champagne and juice... then the champagne just keeps going... about 11 or so the tree becomes the focal point and we take care of the "present" issue... then more champagne keeps flowing. Generally, by this point it's midday - this means it is a respectable time for beer. Beer flows. We have lunch about 1 or 2, over a few hours... at which the wine is opened too... then after dessert is time for the yummy spirits and we snooze because we've eaten too much and drunk too much... Then we stir about 6 or so feeling a little peckish and start at the leftovers. Typically the merits of red wine are explored in deeper detail and the frivolities continue deep into the night.
Boxing day is, needless to say, recovery.

What's on your holiday wishlist?
I wish I could take back what happened to a colleague's son yesterday morning.
I wish I could shield that family from the loss they are suffering, that so very huge loss.
I wish the son's family could know him for longer and that his children would grow up knowing who their father was.
I wish that Christmas for that whole family could, in coming years, mean something other than one more year since such tragedy struck and deprived them of a special, unique and loved father, son, husband, brother, or uncle.

What's your musical horoscope? (Put your player on shuffle and write down the first 10 songs that come up.)
I think we've had this one before, but in the interests of seeing how we have (d)evolved, I chose to play.
I have discarded the first, being a kind of random track I chose to get the ball rolling.
I should also note, this process really reflects mine and the boy's collective taste (I have 36 GB free on an 80 GB iPod and I'm pretty sure I don't know about 30% of what is on there).

If you could get everyone in the world to change their behavior in one way, what would you have them do differently?
Submitted by Ross.
Move with the flow of the traffic in the right hand land, not 10 km/hour below.
Deliver on your promises.
Be more respectful.
Seriously, though, if the fact that those things are right isn't enough, what difference is some blog entry going to make?
Riss the... it's really not rocket science.
